Here is a recipe I love for everyday, and especially the days when I’m not feeling sharp. It’s easy, you can’t taste the greens in it, and in 5 minutes, you can have a fast, healthy meal for you and your family!
Fight the Mental Fog Smoothie
Here is a vitamin-packed smoothie I like to make when I need a little mental clarity.
Equipment
- Blender You can also use an immersion blender in a pinch
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh spinach or 1/2 cup frozen
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt regular is fine as well
- 2-3 scoops protein powder (optional)
- 1 banana
- 1 cup water Start with 1/2 cup and add more to make it pourable
Instructions
- Add in all ingredients – I like to add protein powder somewhere in the middle so it blends well. Blend until smooth & serve!
Notes
Whenever I am feeling down, a little off, or tired, I add in good foods as a first step. The nutrition and antioxidant boost from a simple smoothie can go a LONG way. If you want to feel healthier and think more clearly, try a delicious smoothie!
